Learn about an array of DEI initiatives from leaders across campus
A selection of campuswide initiatives aimed at advancing DEI strategic efforts are highlighted in this video, representing a sampling of the 37 university action items and central infrastructure supporting the DEI Strategic Plan.
In Year Five, these broad-impact initiatives continued to provide the centrally administered programs, consolidated resources, activities and guiding expertise essential to the success of every unit plan. Despite the myriad challenges of COVID-19 coupled with racial unrest and political turmoil, the action items also enabled our entire campus to focus even more intently on anti-racism and to advance DEI efforts.

We will be vigilant in ensuring that diversity, equity and inclusion are foundational aspects of our educational program offerings and teaching methodology, and that scholarly research on diversity, equity and inclusion, and the scholars who produce it, are valued and supported.
