Our Approach

In 2015, when President Mark S. Schlissel called on the campus community to create a five-year strategic plan focused on the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, a framework was created to support and implement the strategic plan across the university. It included the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, foundational programs, leadership, infrastructure and a reporting process.
